Systems Administrator (Hyper-V Migration)
Specific Skills
- 2 years and up hands on experience with Windows Server Administration, Virtualization, VMware and Hyper-V
- Must be open to work on any given shift schedule (mid shift schedule or night shift schedule)
- Willing to work on hybrid setup at Makati City
Responsible For
- Help implement migration of VMware systems to Hyper-V environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms.
- Deploy, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize Windows systems and their appropriate security posture.
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software patches. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Configure new systems and apply best practice security configuration on servers.
- Monitor and support SAN storage, ensuring performance and availability.
- Perform system troubleshooting to resolve hardware, OS, and application issues.
- Conduct performance monitoring, log analysis, and capacity planning.
- Follow IT service management (ITSM) principles for incident, problem, and change management.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support public cloud administration tasks (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Educational Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer or Engineering courses
